When planning your event, much of your attention is focused on details like venues and suppliers, social media and marketing, and cost. Especially cost. In the run up to your event, it’s easy to get distracted into thinking solely about details in terms of preparation. But the time for the event will eventually arrive. And then, success hinges on the memories your guests make through their senses.
Not all events are created equal. And sometimes, decisions made in preparation to save a dollar here or there, can be the difference between a memorable experience, and something people can’t wait to be done with.
From the moment they arrive, to the moment they leave, your guests will remember the subtle things you may not have considered in your preparations:
The temperature and ambience of the room
The ability to move freely through the space
The acoustics and the overall sound and noise levels in your guests’ ears
The sights, lighting, colors, moods, and textures that greet your guests and stay with them through the event
The smell of the room.
All of these intangibles work together to create the experience and the memories your guests will have from your event.
These things are rarely considered when working from a typical checklist.
You may have the sound and lighting in place, the caterer’s menu approved, and the venue locked in. But none of these things speak about the experience of the event itself.
As your audio and video partner, we may not have control over all of these ethereal factors, but we keep them in mind at all times. We customize our approach to each event to best accommodate the unique room acoustics, lighting needs, space requirements, and so on.
In other words, we are there to excite an d delight your guests’ senses, and that’s what they’ll remember long after they go home.
